Thank you for the review. I've been eyeing this exact board with an 8700K for the next and last holiday of the year. I agree fully with your suggestions about the layout. I have a gigabyte z170x-gaming 5(the fan control setting is utter garbage!OMG!) and it has all of the "needed" features(on board reset/power, error code LED etc.) and I paid less than 200€ for it at the time. I don't see why they removed useful features like these on such an expensive board to put stupid stuff. Makes no sense for me. That is why I had a hard time choosing which board I wanted between the pro, the master, the ultra and the elite. But I don't have the need for wifi so I settled for the pro though a little disappointed.
The bios could be a lot better as Steve from Gamers Nexus suggested but it's an improvement from what I've got so if I purchase it I'll manage.

I must admit I have not been into buying Cutting edge items for for the past few yrs but How can this mobo be so fast?? I will buy it in January after these expensive holidays are over! For SURE!
