This is at the same price point as the 1070, therefore performance should be compared to the 1070 and not the 1060... this is not a big improvement on the 1070, which is disappointing; but this is currently the better buy of the two because it is a newer generation with more potential to gain improvement from driver improvements.
£350 for an Nvidia xx60 series card shows the ongoing price creep from Nvidia.
Only 1 Display Port? but why
So they use a 6 month old AMD driver? Mmmmm. 18.8.2 was released last August.
Oh, and this 'Forward looking Turing architecture' you speak of, what use is it in a 2060?.
Agree it should be compared to the 1070 as it is in that price range. Presumably Hexus sold out and signed the nVidia agreement, can't think of any other reason for this articles obvious bias.
Would never base my buying decisions on anything here.
best get a Founders Edition lot better and it got a back plate
People keep complaining about the price of the RTX 2060 but, this card offers a significant performance advantage over my GTX 1070ti and is significantly cheaper. I bought the 1070ti in August at what was then a pretty good price as some cards on Amazon were being discounted to shift before 20xx.
