It feels like nvidia want you to cough up the extra for RTX 2060 and have designed this product from the ground up to be no threat to its own RTX but as there are some Vega 56 models around the £275 mark now that if you can't stretch to the 2060 you should go red team.

Vega 56 for £249 with 3 games....kinda makes the GTX 1660 ti reduntant while they're both priced respectively, except for SFF builds.

Badly priced again.Rx 580 4gb (slower but still good enough for fullhd) can be had for about £150, with 2 new games included.
If you don't mind buying abroad (Germany) and do not care about the games, you can get the 8gb version (xfx gts black) for less than £160 delivered.

Yes it does seem like the price is joined at the hip with 2060. No point undercutting their own products too much.

Edit: AMD certainly need to cut their RX 590 prices though which will probably have a knock on effect for the rx 580 and 570 too.

Re: Palit GeForce GTX 1660 Ti StormX

I have to agree with other posts - review seems very "gentle" on this card, given that a Vega 56 can be had for less money today (249 vs 269 based on a quick "google shopping"). Radeon VII was rightly criticised for being 10% slower than price equiv nvidia board. This card is simimilarly (sometimes siginificantly so) behind the Vega56. Not good enough.

At 225ukp or with a games bundle, perhaps. 269ukp no.

I guess we now know why the Vega 56 pricing suddenly fell away this week...

Re: Palit GeForce GTX 1660 Ti StormX

I'll either go all in for a 2060 or swap sides and go for the now very well priced Vega 56 or even pick up a cheaper/ second hand 1070ti, at this price I see no reason at all to buy an inferior 1660ti, they need to lower the price.
