I'm not really getting much 80s from this or the black version... Looks like just a standard case with removable RGB fans shining through the front intake, TBH...

I'd say 60's or 70's with the RGB. That was the disco era after all...

Re: Corsair iCue 220T RGB Airflow

For the 80's the RGB would have to be seven segment. And without any 'B'

Edit: Now a mini ITX case in ST or Amiga style, that could get my attention. I have a spare Ryzen 2200G that would go awesomely is such a beast

Re: Corsair iCue 220T RGB Airflow

I like the funky front panel, it has a kind of space invades vibe about it and makes a nice change to have decent direct airflow into the case too. I think I’d prefer a few extra CM between the PSU & the HDD cage though (as pointed out).

I dunno - I don't really like that front panel. The lack of symmetry bugs me.

Re: Corsair iCue 220T RGB Airflow

No external bays to let you customise the case. It seems that is the norm these days, and I think it is a bad move. That comment about meagre usb provision would matter less if you could pop out a 5.25" blank and add in a hot-swap drive bay and USB ports + card reader.

Re: Corsair iCue 220T RGB Airflow

I just noticed, from the Corsair promo video, that these are SP120 fans, too...

If they're not even gonna supply ML120s, there's nothing more to talk about with this case.

That front panel's got Lisa Frank and early DTP vibes.
Just stick some puffy stickers on it and it'll be more obvious -- you may want to use them to conceal the asymmetry.

Thinking about a white case for my next build, now.

I'm another person who really doesn't like that front bezel, it just looks completely mismatched.

Looks more like someone was just bored at work one day and thought meh just chuck this front panel on it, I found it in design bin.

Just a random related question, why aren't we seeing new mini cases being released? I mean do people really need full atx anymore? And no, I am not suggesting companies stop making full atx, just seems strange that it's almost 2020 and not many new mini's are being released.

Yes, I do. The bigger, the better!
We're not seeing smaller cases because people have not been buying the ones that were available.
