I think the AM4 socket will have issues before the VRMs do

True you ain't putting this in your pauper £1500 1080p gaming build but... and listen up... IT'S NOT WHAT IT'S FOR, ffs. If I was looking for a board for my 16/32 Ryzen and RTX 2080ti this would be a buy click straight away.

I think it's a great board at a good price and defiantly not 'gouging' anyone who has plans for a rig worthy of it.
Either you work for Aorus or this right here is why here is why we're being price gouged across the board. Don't get me wrong, those that can afford to buy it are free to do whatever they like. However those that go for such a board are not doing so because it's a "good" or "fare" price.

It's definitely a pricey affair. Not sure it's fair, but as you say people can pay the premium fare if they want to.

A couple of things to point out:

    • It has 6 SATA III ports, but you lose 2 of them if you run the third M2 slot. (so only 4 true independent SATA like the MSI ACE)
    • Due to the amount of rear panel connectivity USB3.2 and 3.1 there are no additional PCIe4x1 slots like you get with the Asus or MSI boards.
    • There is no PS2 port. Complicates a win7 set-up for those who want to.
    • Bios flash memory is half the size of MSI and Asus - not sure if this will matter but found it odd when reading the specs.
