Mmh. Gsync modules have been very slow to mature and DP2.0 which this should have has only recently been ratified. Great idea but tech and nvidia module prices need to come down before we will see what this monitor should have been.

Nope, lost me on the external power brick and active cooling. At that price I'd have expected all of the wrinkles to have been ironed out during development.
Anything over $300 for monitor is expensive.
Why doesn't it just use two DP 1.4 inputs, like the Acer Nitro 4k?
But bring on DP 20.0 and HDMI 2.1.

Such a pity that some areas of PC development jump ahead and we are left with compromises due to other bits not keeping up.
But even using it with only 144Hz for gaming (wondering if movies would look any better going up to 180 or 200HZ), it is still better than the older version (except for the viewing angles).
But then there is that price tag for not only this monitor, but for the PC to run it at 200Hz. :-(
Would a PC with 2x 2080Tis be OK to run this?
Maybe by the time we get all the components sorted in a couple of years, we will have an OLED option as well.
Not good enough. For that money it should have been a flawless victory.
Now to see what the LG 38GL950G can do.
