I have been mulling over gears 5 videos and info, it don't seem to be a game i will engage with.
BUT !
I have not taken the wrapper off the microsoft game pass thingy that came with the 5700XT of mine, so i might still get some hands on time with gears 5, i just don't think it will be enjoyable.
Is there any clues how xbox one s compares to PC settings? I have a rx480 and a one s but not sure best system to stick it on (got game pass).
I am getting 87fps at 1080p on my Threadripper 1950x and Strixx Vega 56 OC.
It seems that the CPU is very lightly taxed, and GPU is always at max.
The more you live, less you die. More you play, more you die. Isn't it great.
just 1920x here
1080Ti 1440p, Ultra, great port and looks great (I only it a couple of event not starting bugs). I can get 58 FPS with Scaling set to 200% in the benchmark but I play it at proper scaling normally (about 80-90 FPS)
whats the point of making fancy sys requirement graphic and not explain what minimum/ideal means
clearly 2060 is enough for 60+ fps on max, so why ask for 2080? nvidia paid?
Runs amazingly well on the Xbox One X at 4K - will be interesting to see how much more I can squeeze out of the game when I build my new Ryzen Zen 2 workstation this autumn and have a second play through of the single player.
P.s. A few hours into the campaign, the Matriarch battle is insane... a proper old fashioned Gears of War 'WTF' moment!
