Edit: The AI test is way more interesting than FPS, as it very much effects gameplay. It plays to the strengths of the 9900K (probably more so if you switch off threading to improve security ), but also shows how AMD have improved since Zen 1. It isn't just GHz though, the 3400G takes a beating in this one. It is a decent benchmark, Hexus should switch.

Though we may not have as many results as GN, we have been running the Civ VI GS AI test for a while. It's on page five.

    That's embarrassing, so you do

I just never got the point of the Civ frames per second test or why anyone bothers with it. My wife plays the game on an old FX 6350, even on that the graphics are fine but my word those turn times mid game...

Something that hasn't been noted very much, if at all, is what you lose by buying a 9900KS.

    You lose:
    -Trusted Execution
    -vPro
    -SSIP

It seems Intel has removed features to get this thing running fast. Now your average gamer doesn't care much further than their can of monster/relentless and a big pack of Monster munch while gaming but these are three fairly big security/nominal features to lose.

That game is massively GPU limited at 4K, meaning that ordinarily lesser CPUs benchmark better than expected. The result to look out for, from a processor perspective, is the FHD.
I was referring to the alignment of the scores within the chart on the 4K e.g where you see a grid division you could see say 70 | 70 either side where you expect the charting to be 69|70
