Oh wow.... Based on looks alone, I'd certainly not kick that one out of bed!!
Could do with better RGB, but aren't they all like that these days?

Well it is nice and all, but I would like to see it put up against the competetitor CPU wise... i mean yes it is nice to see a really good or interesting review but if testing it would be nice to what intel has to offer or at least to be able to see the difference.

    Re: Gigabyte TRX40 Aorus Xtreme

    Nice.
But i think i am better off getting a low power laptop for the bulk of my work, my TR4 eats up 180 W just sitting idle, so maybe i should just fire that up when i really need it.
Or maybe a NUC or something that can share my monitor.

When there's a 3990X in the socket, there's really no competitor, apart from other TRX40 boards. I'd say that it's the most well-rounded of the trio.

Yeah. and it is not classy to hit a guy when he is down
Though it would seem many think so jumping on the heads of people knocked out in a drunken blind rage.
But these extremely violent people must be taken out by the law,,,,,, and i mean ALL and permanently out personally.

    ???!!!!

This thread hasn't gotten violent yet, mate... TBH, we haven't really even reached the stage of trading blows and insults over AMD vs Intel.

I did that with my last gaming setup as I thought it was the best of both worlds - a big power hungry and noisy (originally started this idea when I had a AMD R9 290x screamer) gaming desktop paired with a small everyday power efficient NUC, right up until it was stolen.
    Rebuilding at the moment.
