"The number of drive mounts has been cut in half from eight to two"
ummm.... I'm not great a maths, but I don't think that's right.
".... cut in half from 8 to 2"
No Im no Stephen Hawking, but something doesnt add up there
So close to being what I'm looking for... the full define 7 is just a tad too big for where I want to put it (sloping roof of loft conversion doesn't help)
Would have liked it just a little bit bigger with support from 3 or 4 ssd's behind the motherboard rather than below the gpu's... and it's not like they haven't done this because the define c has a 3 ssd bracket over the cpu opening...
And it's so nice to see a case without glass and rgb lighting. I don't want rgb lighting because it affects the colour accuracy of my work and I don't really want glass either as I can see it getting broken.
This is basically nothing more than a Meshify C with a plain front panel..
To be fair, the Define 7 series of cases are actually a new design, and are not the same as the R6 / S2 type clones, where one chassis is the base for about 4 different cases.
See how one side of the top of the chassis completely comes away when you remove parts for assembly? None of the older chassis' do that.
