Great spec and good figures but was it designed by someone that was colour blind?
Would be very interested in this without the wifi and a better colour sceme.
Not a fan of active cooled chipsets, at least not if the fan are a screamer like little fans use to be in the old days.
Also not interested in wifi, i mean come on
A good question, which one should I chose?!? they are pretty much identical.
If I can say, pretty well done writeup considering its a product with very little difference to its similar competition.
I stopped reading when you listed 'Killer 2.5G ethernet'. That alone is enough to put this in the 'avoid' category.
I always stick to Asus or MSI for boards , used to include Gigabyte but not enamoured by them these last years. Asrock has never really grabbed me and after Hardware Unboxed slaughtered Asrocks Z490 boards they don't fall in my list of options. The way and trend now for boards to be overlaid with covers might look smart and neat but I wonder if this overlay can cause a slight heat problem for surface components on the board itself. I'm probably wrong but it is food for thought and presume board manufacturers know better than my stupid self.
