That just seems like a lot of money to spend on 27". And I'm sorry fellas, but size definitely matters!
Depends, gaming monitor? I'd personally say yes, after all it's not something that really requires high level of colour accuracy but minimal lag.
A monitor for prosumer level colour work such as Photo/video it'd be about right, hell my place bought two NEC 27" screens costing in the region of £1500-£2000 each for the photo studios four or five years ago but my god the image quality! instant, slobbering desire.
I cant get myself to buy one of these monitors with basic HDR performance
