I bought the BT250v as for the price you can't beat it. Its comfy, reliable and works plus you don't look like a extra from Star Trek as its worn behind the ear. Who needs to see battery status on an LCD screen or have a specific light bulb, its just more to drain the battery in the first place! The BT250v beeps in your ear when its running out and gives you a decent time before switching off, you can also switch it back on as their is some power left! (NB: in response to it would have been nice to see a small light display on the headset to indicate the remaining power - the light on the top goes dimmer as the battery runs out, a very simple solution). If you want to see if its connected, check your device! I use mine with a XDAIIi which displays a little picture on the top bar. Bottom line, I think this is a great headset for the money, sound quality is top notch and it does exactly what it says on the tin.
