Post Latest Intel Xeon platform discussed

HEXUS are in the process of evaluating the latest Intel Xeon DP platform, codenamed Lindenhurst. The new Paxville Xeon processor is the brains behind the operation and sports dual cores and HyperThreading on each. Join me as I discuss the platform in advance of our analysis, as I think about possible performance. Find the discussion here. Want to comment? Do so in this thread.

    Cache, cache can save it.

But the bottle neck i have on my dual necona system is bad enough (4 virtuals) some tasks actually go faster by turning off hyperthreading!
