Cool HEXUS.reviews :: ASUS P5W64 WS Professional mainboard

It's got phour PCIe graphics slots... FTW!
Evolving the ASUS P5W series of mainboards to what we presume is its pinnacle, the P5W64 WS Pro seems to be almost the perfect mainboard for the power-hungry high-end PC user that wants to run Core 2 Duo or upcoming quad-core 'Kentsfield' processors.

OMG. I want one!!!!1111one (continuing the l33t theme)

Looks seriously nice though. No big graphics coolers allowed though.

Can't wait to see if DFI will come up with something like this.

    ...beautiful....
So there we were at the start of August, with our anxiously sweaty fingers tickling the release date of the best thing Intel have produced for a long time... and now this!

My other (and slightly lesser) half is fed up of me saying "you know what i might just wait for...."

And God said "Let there be light." But then the program crashed because he was trying to access the 'light' property of a NULL universe pointer.

Could you tell me the Price and if a 7950 GX2 will work on it?

Should I buy this or the asus P5N32sli- premium, which we still see no sign of.

Ahhh....yet ANOTHER board that teases me with the features I want, yet in a manor that makes them useless to me

    Why-o-why, create a 4 x PCI-E 16x slot CROSSFIRE board where 2 PCI-E slots are made redundant when using X1900XT card?

Its about time motherboard makers made a board that can do CF/SLI AND be able to use other PCI-E cards at the same time - it isn't exactly rocket-science

There are things other then graphics cards that come in PCI-E flavor

I want the option of CF but without giving up my raid controller.....and I am sure it won't be too long before we see more gadgets that come in PCI-E...
