    Scan price gouging Q6800

Why when they are gouging the price of the Q6800 at £750 are you pimping it on the front page ? I know you are close to Scan but this is not doing youir readers a good service in my opinion.

If people can wait till Dec then Komplett are offering them for £650 which is £100 cheaper. Scan also overpriced the X6800 as well by a large amount.

Princely sum should be changed to extortionate at least

    Regards
    Andy

Scan sells for a fixed price above what they pay for goods. £750 is the going rate for any Intel extreme chip, has been for a while.

You're also comparing against retailers who don't have stock. Which means nothing. I receive stock of X6800's I'll sell them for £20 Doesn't mean I'll get any. You'll also notice places doing this dont enter into a contract with you until they have stock which allows them to hike the price. Not saying Komplett are planning this, but it is quite common among a few retailers.

Accusing Scan of overpricing really isn't fair unless you know their purchase price. Just because some retailers slash their margins and often sell at a loss to drive business doesn't mean Scan will nor need too.
