For what its worth, the forums are *a lot* harder to read now. I'm guessing its the font/spacing. Any chance of using the old fonts?
cheers,
dave

If you use them for a little while they do get a lot better.
Not a bug report but a big thank-you. Thanks for making the "unread posts" thing bright yellow. Instead of that slightly lighter shade of blue it was earlier :D
The few things i could see have been picked up from other peoples posts, a big thanks for sorting everything so quickly and making the new forums a bit easier to adjust to :)
:)
Its my original JPEG (the one without the santy hat). Knew I should have done it before the 6th! ;)Quote:

Cool as :)
Minor niggle - while I think the new design looks OK, it doesn't seem to work with the wand password manager in Opera anymore, which is a bit of a pain, since although I have cookies enabled in Opera, they've never really worked for this site; I've used wand to save the password etc. and this has always worked until now.
edit: disregard, please, sorted out.
Search - search IDs expire too soon. Seeing as I usually only have net access over weekends, I come back, list all new posts, and go through the odd 20 pages of results. I was on page 8 (I go through in chronological order, oldest posts first, so this would be the 8th last page, out of 20), and I can go no further, seeing as the search ID has expired. :< On the old version, the search IDs expire after about a week, not 2 days. :O
Alternatively, add an option to View New Posts since the last time you went to "View New Posts" - that way, no matter when one accesses the forums (I may do so in the week, to reply to a subscribed thread), it's still possible to find posts made since the last listing of new posts.
Thanks
Save this link...

I mean literally that link. NOT an indexed link :) but that link exactly as it is above :) that will sort your problem out (works for me) :)
Also note, there is a max of 500 results returned from the database. So if there are 500 threads and replies, the oldest ones wont be there :)
"Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."
And, did you edit it from the non-hexus URL? Seems to have changed in the time I refreshed this page.
I corrected it yes :)
It should work. But you have already viewed an old index since you have been here posting, so it is reset of course.
Added something to the mods area earlier today, not sure if you've seen it. Also when you click members list at the top it says disabled by board admin. Under PM's in the User CP you click the link for confirmed / unconfirmed PM receipts (Just under the bar that tells you how full the inbox etc) you get a do not have permission to access the page.
Ferral check PM :)
Sorted.
Is the new forum, or the entire site in general, have moved servers? It's just that, I've found it to be slower than before, especially in regards to the forum.
I'm on cable.
We have not moved servers at all in the last month - we did however have a lot of problems with DoS attacks.
Can you do a tracert for us and detail when it is slow for you.
