How many Posts do i need???

Was just wondering how many Posts i need to get a Avatar...? :rolleyes:

200 for a title.. then 500 for an avatar :)

No WAY .... Not to Long to go then...

No we're not taking the piss. What makes you think you have a god-given right to an avatar ? On many forums you're not allowed an avatar at all

should be happy with a pic in your sig tbh :)

LOL! Poor guy will get no avatar unless he posts lots, and you'll set his post count to 0 if he posts too much! :rolleyes:

You made two posts one after the other. The second was completely unnecessary as you had said thanks in the first one. Try applying a little thought and consideration before pressing submit, you'll find it helps in the long run. Extracting the urine out of a moderator isn't going to win you any favours either. One more spammy post and your count will be reset to zero

I don't understand why people come to forums as newcomers and expect the right to all the perks immediately! You earn the right to certain things, like avatars. At least you have the right to sigs, including pics of any (REASONABLE) size.

It probably has something to do with the fact that avatars are saved on Hexus' servers, therefore takes up more of their web space, but sig's are links to other servers.

Can you imagine if every new member uploaded an image straight away? It would probably kill the server in a few days (slight exaggeration)!

Therefore, those who regularly frequent Hexus are considered to be helpful to the continual growth of the site and are allowed to upload an image of their choice (120x120 pixiels though) to use as an avatar.

with VB im sure you have the option to link from your own site/webspace

You can. However the rules have been stated and the post limits still stand. Apologies if you feel this is an issue but those are the rules on this forum
