Hexus Users problem

I am trying to log into my user.hexus account but I can't remember ny password. Not a problem I thought, I'll just go on the site and use the very helpful, lost your password you muppet button. But every time I click on it it just locks my browser up, and if I try to open it as a new page I just get the page not found message.

Might just be this carp comp, or it could be a little problem, just thought I would let you know.

The lost password box opens in a new window using a little piece of javascript. My guees would be that you either have javascript disabled or that you are pressing the link before the page has loaded and therefore the script hasn't downloaded quickly enough. Can you try pressing CTRL-F5 which performs a full refresh of the page, wait till it loads completely and then hit the link ?

I have tested it on the site and it works fine for me on IE and Mozilla so I'm guessing it's something different with your PC.

ah Maybe I need to find another way to implement that then. Or put a message saying that HEXUS won't use popup ads so you can allow www.hexus.net to open new windows in your popup filter

It's wierd though, that's the only time a link has ever caused my browser, I use myie2 btw, to lock up when trying to access a page.

Can't explain it tbh, it's a straightforward javascript window.open command. Whilst I try most of the big browsers when coding I don't delve into the extras such as MyIE as it would mess up normal IE. If anyone else uses MyIE perhaps they could test ?
