In light of Zak33's recent joke compo and my few jokes I've been posting every now and then, can we have one please, purely for jokes? Obviously they need to be clean one's only, but mod's can take care of any one's too rude!

I think we should have an 18+version where the jokes can be really rude if you like!

Hmm, good idea, but I'm not sure if the admins would wanna put that much effort into setting that up, where a Joke forum shouldn't be too difficult to add...

Sorry to bring this up again, but would it be possible? Perhaps a sub-forum of GD&B?

It opens the door to the potentials for racism (e.g. Irish jokes), intended or unintended as well as the obvious 18+ rating as everyone will have different ideas of what constitutes and adult joke.

It's a huge job to admin something like that I'm afraid so I doubt we can spare the time to do it. I'll let David decide

Well, I told an Irish joke on the GD&B forum and was accused of being racist, but IMHO anyone who can't take a joke about their race/religion/sex/size/age/sexual preference/hair colour/car or any other thing must be very sad...

I understand your worries about administrating this (as no doubt just my comment above will cause a farce) so don't worry about it. I'll just post the odd one every now and again in GD&B and remove it if someone cries.

Nope, Banter forum is within GD, we are not having its own forum.

Also, we can not do background checks to validate age...

I think if we start having forums for every little thing, then it'll become cluttered and crowded. I've seen forums with a subforum for every little topic, it's confusing as hell
