Lite version

I guess this is a query as well as a suggestion, because I'm not sure if it exists.

Is there a way of viewing a ligher version of this forum? I've been wondering for a while actually because each page (just the html) is around 200kb and that seems like alot to me!

It's not so much for me (though I would welcome it), but I figure it would save you lot a fair bit on hosting costs.

A mobile version has been sugested, but it isn't easy.

There is a forum upgrade soon, but the admins are all pretty busy, so it depends what they can impliment. They are also restricted to vB templates etc.

even just a text only version of the site, with no template on it at all, for mobiles would be cool.

Is there a vB for mobiles plugin?
