Guitar Hero Advert?

I've seen it popping up a few times (pun not intended ) (unsure of if the threads got deleted or something...)

but the guitar hero advert really gets in the way, as it seems to appear more than any others, but i always fall foul of it (i.e. the drop down part, that you can't tell if it has dropped down because of transparency...)

also, my mouse seems to go nowhere near the ad and it still opens?

this is the banner add that i am talking about, as i'm not having too many problems with the square side one (as it's not as intrusive, whereas the top ad is, as it just gets in the way when trying to get to the web content )

so what i'm wondering is... when is the next ad switch going to occur?? (i.e. how long is the guitar hero one going to be around, and blocking the new posts button?)

Your mouse will need to pass within the 728x90 area for it to pop up and it does have a close button an 'x'

We make a balance between campaigns and user experience - and i know we eget it pretty right all of the time - however we can't pull all the adverts or we might as well close up shop.

The campaign only runs until the end of the month.

Okie dokie, not too long left to go then

I know that there is an 'X' on the ad, but i never see it in time and end up with a guitar hero popup. was hilarious the first time, cos i was utterly confused as to what had happened....but as things went on..... you get my drift
