Any issues with New Posts and Today's Posts?

Twice over the past few days I've logged in and hit new posts and only been given the first 100 threads.

Just now for example. My last loggin was "Yesterday at 11:01 PM", but the oldest entry in New Posts is "Today 11:14 AM". A good 12 hours of posts missed.

Has there been a limit put on the standard searches of 100? I know it used to be 500 which I ran into from time to time when i'd been away for a few days.

has steve looked into this yet.. as it is happening with me too, has been for a couple of days now.. (only just found this thread, it wasn't on my 'new posts' list so couldn't reply sooner)

my last login was 10.03pm yesterday.. oldest entry in the 'new posts' is 3.36pm today. thats 17 hours of posts i'm missing out on!

I have been missing out on a lot of posts recently because of this too :(

I've increased the limit to 250.

Our forum's so bloody big that returning too many results can cause problems. However, when reducing it to 100 I was attempting to fix something that in the end I fixed using other means, so upping it again shouldn't be a problem.

its just a sneaky way to get us to log-on more often so we don't miss anything.
