Problem with Mozilla 1.6 on Front Page

    Hi Guys,

Just downloaded Mozilla 1.6 and I find that on the front page that the drop down boxes for articles/feedback/review etc. come up behind the ad below them so you can't see what's in the boxes. Just thought I'd say and see if it can be fixed.

    Cheers,

    Pickers

this is a problem with flash being "always on top", where the shuttle ad is flash.

it seems fine with IE, as a dirty hack has been applied (i forget the details) which only works in IE.

    Az can give the specifics.

I'm away in 1 hour. It's Flash, there's nothing that can be done about it as it always appears on top of anything else on the site. I've put a hack in place for IE but it's not supported by Mozilla. All the top level menu options allow you to get to the same places anyway, the dropdowns are just for convenience. The hack in IE makes the ad transparent when something appears on top and gives the illusion that it works. In actual fact the ad is still there, it's just invisible.

Someone needs to sort Macromedia out

Also when using Mozilla Firefox when checking out the reviews the links that take you to the next page sometimes end up half way up the page

Thats not a firefox specific error, its to do with the textual content of the page downloading before the images. It will be fixed in an upcoming code drop. In the meantime, simply refreshing the page will fix the issue as the images should have been cached on your browser
