I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem but whenever that red G.Skill advert is on screen everything in my browser slows down. It's bloody annoying.
It doesn't make Opera slow, but it does make it eat 75% of my T7200.
The MSI DrMOS and the apple as make Opera use ~1%.
I've spoken to GSKILL and requested a new creative
OK, I have discovered a problem with it and Opera. It makes the reply box (both quick and advanced) c....r....a....w....l.
Thanks DR![]()
The new one doesn't cause any lag as far as I can tell, but is massively pixelated, and seems to run at about 5x speed?
Still causing problem here. 60% usage when it's on screen, 30% when i scroll it off the screen, ~1% when any other advert is displayed instead.
And it looks like junk now too.
Nothing has changed guys - I know there are issues - we are speaking to GSKILL posting here won't expedite us chasing them - we already have :0
Sorry, I thought it had changed from what Dave said.
My mistake![]()
Are you sure? I'm sure it is a different ad?
I'm prepared to be proved wrong though...
EDIT - must have just been half asleep when I read this thread originally..
100% nothing has changed - I manage the relationship with Gskill
Ho humm, I didn't remember it being as pixelated. Ah well, should really wake myself up![]()
~40% of an i7 processor to run that advert
it's far too fast too
and the pictures are REALLY pixelated.
Thanks guys - I am on it....
Can we get you to say that again in the same thread?
And that would explain what killed my college computer, it full on went to a crawl, then crashed, and then someone hit the eject cd tray button, and it now refuses to stay closed
It closes for a few seconds then just reopens
edit: in hindsight, i should have stuck eyes on it and written 'om nom nom'![]()
Just making sure people don't worry about constantly telling me things which we already know![]()
See the headaches I can cause?![]()
