girly forum

....I'm not really that bothered to be honest.... I'd read it if it was there obviously, but like Howard said, girlies can post in GD!
(...and would girls really want to discuss anything that they didn't want blokes to see?? I wouldn't I don't think, not on here!)
There must be posts that some blokes post that don't interest other blokes OR girls, GD covers such a huge range of subjects.
Maybe Computer type questions/comments shouldn't be posted in GD, but in their relavant Computer forum?!

the last time i posted on hexus was tuesday and thats because theres nothing goin on atm of any interest for me and if i can speak for elmo, i'd say her as well.... if you dont want it to happen then fair enough, but i reckon it would attract more female members and encourage the ones who are here to post more often

hexus is a technology sitey thing, hence the forums are pretty much all about computery/technology stuff, i mean there are also other section of the forums like cars&bikes, for sale, music/entertainment, cookery! surely that is suffice, i mean i wouldnt go onto a girlie kinda forum and start asking for a computer hardware section, because it just wouldnt happen... i feel general discussion is fine as it is, for general discussion, yes it includes stuff to do with computers, like i said, its a computery-based site...
hmm i am ranting far too much this evening, sorry :) just my feelings

You can't add it to the lifestyle section though, I mean, how many geeks are interested in cars/bikes, music and girls? Well, the 90% wo are straight that is! Surely it would end up with loads of threads about conquests, chat-up lines and a sticky thread filled with intra-sheet techniques.

Maybe put it in a different section, or hide it with the gaming forum to make it clear its not so much general interest as a forum for a privileged few. Also how do you decide who gets to view and post there? I mean, with so many members surely there are some who are, shall we say, gender non-specific? Wouldn't, for example, a Lesbian-identified male have a right to post there?

The PMS I use is one I wrote, so it won't be the same thing. Maybe I need to come up with a better name :)

Now you're saying that the GD forum should not be visited by "computer enthusiasts"... You're being a bit small-minded now with this geek business. I think you'll find GD has all manner of general chat, I don't know why you women feel left out... :confused:
