Heh, well as you've built one i give it a week tops. I think its a bad idea to be honest but i'm happy to see how it goes, I wish it well but i don't think people will able to resist the post button.

I don't honestly see what aspect of Hexus needs a girly forum, happy to be shown that there is a need, but truely and honestly, Hexus is Primarily a computer hardware/software and gaming site.

MY personal belief is that its not here to cater for different genders, different religions, TO ME Hexus was a community for the WHOLE point it didn't catergorise people. Now we put all the little girlies in a box i think it could upset that balance some what?.

If its not a GD thread, then its a girly specific one?. Oh i don't profess to understand the logic.

I'm happy to watch and learn as we're all entitled to our own opinions but i'm sceptical at the whole thing :)

With regards to TiG's post, I agree in an ideal world that should be the case.

But alas it's not. The last few 'girly' (for the want of a less derogatory word) posts in GD ended up spammed by less than mature posts, this way at least the mods have some sort of control by having a no tolerance approach, something that would be far to extreme to execute in GD proper.

It's not an ideal situation, but it's an improvement, I feel.

Alternatively, why dont you have a female mod in the GD forum that can police femalecentric posts & weed out immature spammers & keep the threads on track?

Because we have decided not to.

I think you will find if you have a look about the HEXUS boards we have a few female members. Everyone is welcome at HEXUS, we try to keep it a pleasant place for people to visit online and enjoy.

We did have a ladies lounge until a few weeks ago but it was decided to let it go as the popularity wasnt there for it any more as our female members get about everywhere and are treat the same way as any other member, like I said previously everyone is welcome regardless of sex, race, colour, nationality or religion. It doesnt matter to anyone on theses boards.

We have a great community here, we all get along. Share what we know, help people out. Its a fun place to be on the net. We have people from all walks of life, we have a chef who works but has put the time in to do a full online cookery book and gives tips and pointers with his culinary expertise for all the members enjoyment(Deckard one of the mods like myself), then theres Zak, a full time car salesman another one of the HEXUS mod admin team, Headbrace, in a league of his own with the Apple Mac forum. These are to name just a few of the dedicated individuals who spend time on HEXUS and help make HEXUS what it is.

Also we have a team of air aces who play regularly on one of the flight sims available (Marlins) who welcome anyone to play and have their own section on the boards, not forgetting we now have a Counter Strike source team starting up, just for fun. Once again all welcome to play if theres a space available.

Take the time to have a look about before casting judgement on a great community.

FWIW, SexyLilDarkPaw (in case you change your mind and come back), how about looking at the KustomPC system builder page? They have a great range of cases and I'm sure you'd find something there that'd suit.

i still find it so hard to find anything though i think i will have to buy a plain case and like paint it and get a guide or modding or soemthing :)

A nice idea i think. But i have seen it tried on other furoms and they just got full of sad post's from silly teanage boys :iloveyou: :inquisiti: :heckle: if you see what i mean.
