    Reputation and Avatars

At the moment you need 500 posts to get an avatar. I was thinking that since reputation was supposed to help show which members are particularly helpful and post useful replies or threads, if members got above a certain reputaion, they could get an avatar regardless of their post count.

    Just a thought!

maybe a combination of the two... say 200 posts but a rep of at least 20.

could def work i think, and is a fairer way imo.

Yikes, You need 500 Posts to get an avatar!!
That's pretty damn high. How does the reputation thing work anyway?

Standard 56K Modem that I'll probably never use.
Case with a bit missing but it's only superficial.

Simple, appropriate and not possible to implement without hacking about with the source code for vBulletin so I'm afraid it's a no-goer.
