My first port of call is to check your extensions and make sure nothing has been added which you didn't want. Some times you get crap like pricerunner etc, second check there aren't any extra tool bars you didn't want. Things like these tend to inter fear with web pages.
Well I only have the default, docs and lastpass plugins installed. Uninstall and reinstall of Chrome has made no difference..

There's some sort of javascript problem that I can't get to happen to me, which makes it difficult to fix. Weird.
Well... let's start with the obvious question. What version of Chrome are you running?
