Some issues I never faced at any forum before
1) The link to my profile/control page doesn't allow me to enter.
2) I can't enter any settings page like general settings, edit emai etc.
3) When I post something, I'm told mods will check it before publishing. Time goes by my posts aren't published.
4) There's no "save" button on the page where I can opt to get notifications by instant email.
For a technology-related forum using the best forum cms vBulletin, Hexus seems to be awfully non-functional. The forum/backend admins appear less than apt/ at this.

It may help you if you read the details of how many posts you need to do certain things :

Re: Some issues I never faced at any forum before
The forum mods and admins are also all volunteers, who have lives to lead, especially at weekends.
Some of your problems were due to anti-spammer measures which result in a LOT of spammers never getting as far as posts appearing on the forum, which is a significant benefit to all our existing members.
Unfortunately, from time to time, these measures also catch non-spammers. It's not common, but it happens, and it happened to you. And before anyone asks, no, I won't comment on what happened or why, because answering that helps tell spammers what we do to try to keep them out.
Having said all that, I'd also point out that when the 7 posts I noticed last night contained 1 brief 'hello' and 6 in competition forums telling us how you were going to win everything, and nothing actually participating in forums, it makes it look like you're here just for free stuff, so moaning about how "apt" we are isn't going to endear you at all.
A polite "I have a problem, please help", and a bit of patience, would have done, instead of moaning because volunteers don't jump quite fast enough.
If you aren't happy with our service, please feel free to go to other forums where you can get lots of help with all sorts of problems, and stand a chance of winning loads of free stuff, and where admins jump to your beck and call.

Thanks for clearing up the air, Zak33. But the self-proclaimed Sherlock has really ruined it for me. The reason I posted on all those competition threads because as soon as I entered one comp, I got an instant email confirming that and asking me to check out other comps. This continued for a few times more, after which I had to leave.
Re: Some issues I never faced at any forum before
Saracen, for an admin of such a respected site, you seem to be a lot more addicted to "moaning". And "politeness" is something you have to really look up in google.
Re: Some issues I never faced at any forum before
Sorry you feel hard done by, Nroy, but posting in the competitions forum isn't necessary to win a competition!

Glad to join you guys here. Looking forward to spend some useful and quality time here. Cheers! :)
And we are glad to have you - but quality time means contributing meaningfully to the forums - not posting one liners that are not really helpful to anyone.
As the saying goes "The more you put in, the more you get out" - and I'm NOT talking about winning competitions. :)

Keep up that patronising tone and your stay here will be short. Consider that a warning.

Very "superior" of you to publish my posts and throw threats after ages have passed and everybody have left the scene. I feel like vomiting, you know, to have come to a place like this which has some piece of work like you. I have applied for self-deletion of this forum profile.

Cobblers.
Your opening post = 29th June 2013.
My first post, 30th June 2013.
My second and final post (until this one) 1st July 2013. 2 whole days elaped since your first post in this thread.
Your rant about "ages later", 15th August, 2013. 6 weeks later.
It wasn't me that brought this up "ages later". It was you.
