I have a suggestion for hexus why not reply to peoples posts or pm's been a week and not even had a reply regarding the comp i asked if it was me and still no reply.

just puts people off posting.

If you won a competition you'll usually get an email, not notification on these forums, check your spam folder. You can reply to the email directly.

If someone's name appears on the past winners then it's not you, as they'd have notified you before putting your name up (ie if you don't respond, it'll go to a different person and their name will be there instead).

Whitetop - my apologies for not getting back to your PM from the 13th. All of the Mods and Admins (other than staff) are volunteers and have other demands on their times. We cannot always provide an instantaneous response, however, we do try our best to get back as soon as we can.

yea well my pm stated emails from here go to my spam and like anyone else just cleans it out without looking.

I know I did not win it now but the name was the same john w same as mine john w so a nice reply from anyone could have been great since the staff i pm'ed has been on every day since then.

Well in that case it would be your fault and not the fault of HEXUS staff. Remove the Hexus e-mails from your spam filter then

Forum moderators are not "staff". We are all, whether mod or admin, members and volunteers, unless the name is in blue.

So, whether an individual has been or every day or not is beside the point. We each devote some time to moderating, but also some time to actually being forum members, you know, like posting and taking part in discussions and threads.

I have received no PM from you, but even if I had, there's little I can tell you beyond what's been said already, which is that notifications are done by email. And forum mods and admins have no more information about winners or losers than you or any other member does, which is that when lists go up publicly, we find out just like you do.

If your email settings are putting email from HEXUS in "spam", then I'd suggest changing that .... or losing out in the event that you win something.

But to add perspective, I've been here since very close to this forum starting, since well before there were competitions, have entered a lot over the years, and have yet to win a thing.
