    Invalid XHTML

    Err, clicking on the "Valid XHTML" link at the bottom of pretty much every page on the main Hexus site, the validator spits out close to and in some cases over 100 errors

    For example http://www.hexus.net/content/press_r...VfSUQ9MTI4MQ==, validating gives:

    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...VfSUQ9MTI4MQ==

    This also causes the Valid CSS2 link to fall over.

    The original template was XHTML compliant and CSS2 but unfortunately some of the content in the news posts, usernames etc such as the use of & symbol causes it to not validate. The latest development version improves on this but ultimately we will never achieve full validation as we have Flash ads and they don't validate in the slightest

    Therefore I'll probably just remove the links. I only ever initially added them so i could check validation, I just never removed them when the site was released

    I personally don't care if it's strictly valid or not, as it displays great on every browser I've used. However claiming strict compliance then falling over on the verification doesn't look too good - that's all.
