My "Sent Items" folder is always empty, even though I have sent a few messages on here. Known bug, or intended behaviour?
"Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder." is unticked by default.

I believe sent items count towards your total PM allowance, so it'd be a lot easier, and less obvious, to hit your PM quota limit if saving sent items was the default. In fact I think I got caught by that years back and was confused for a few minutes ;)
I've had a quick look and that "save in sent items" option isn't actually visible if you are replying to a message using the quick reply box, which I have always done..!
You only see it if creating a new message (or clicking the 'reply' button and submitting from the next screen)..
