    It wouldn't get done.

    * It's not worth it
    * No one would want to much
    * Not many people would listen
    * Personal/home made radio is never any good

    No offence

EDIT: I've changed my mind, see below.

Well it would be good because.

*Hexus users could have there own slots(for which they put themselves in for the week before)

*it can be done for basicly free on shoutcast all we would need would be someone to act as a server

*People would listen (well i would)

*And we could have the latest hardware news etc

*would be a good advertisement for Hexus.net

I thought this sort of thing was not legal, as you do not own the broadcast rights for the material

After thinking about what I said, I now think that I'd listen at first, and if it was properly organised, and worked etc then I might carry on listening. The only problem is that I don't think you'd get enough people to organise it, but it'd be good if it works .

Although I'm not prepared to help in any way (sorry!), I have a question:

This station can't possible be run 24 hours a day like normal radio, so is it like a few hours each day, and once you've missed it, that's it, or is it like "listen again" on the BBC?

can anyone be the host from there own home..?
    becasue that would be cool
people could just say they wanted to have a go at being a dj for say an hour or two on a certain day then just talk through there mic in there comp
could we not put some sort of advert on there to pay for it....if we have to pay?
could we also have the recorded reviews next to there reviews on the hexus home page?
that would be cool, you could listen instead of having to read

Yes but you limit the number of listeners - of course if it did pick up

Yeah, setup wise you can run the server program on somewhere with a high ammount of bandwidth (Hexus server?) then the broadcaster connects to that, so there only uploading one 128Kbps (or whatever) signal.

Don't forget music would need a broadcasting licence - I can't remember how much that is although I used to know.
