But why it would be a good contribution, as lots of us lot here like sport like some people like cooking there is a cookery section, its not like its off topic is it.

Perhaps if you start making posts in General Discussion about sports, then they'll be enough sports post to warrant a dedicated forum. As it is, I barely see any sports posts.
