any chance of a PSU tutorial/info test?

Sorry for the thread crosslink but wondered if Hexus might be interested in doing a bit of a FYI/myth buster series, e.g. with PSUs as mentioned in this thread http://forums.hexus.net/psus/330793-...ce-sticky.html

It would be a useful resource to have some up to date tests with proper comparisons of power draw across a range of kit grades. If the forum debates (in other threads) are true, most folk only need a 500w supply and the rest are over-paying/over-speccing their machines. Myth or truth? How much slack for peak events is really needed.
