Hmmm, I had heard of Ghostery but didn't realise it lets you pick and choose what ads to display. I may have to look into using that, I wouldn't mind viewing some types of ads and viewing others.
Using Spartan, there's only a single ad at the top of the forum page, and it's pretty much the same old banner type that's been around since the days of Fortune City. On the other hand, the ads on the main page are... a bit over the top on a browser that has no ad blocking capability. It's very reminiscent of this...
