404 on posting replies

I've accessed the forum frontpage a couple of times, but never managed to get any further. Getting to the forums at all was a rare sight!

Has to be location-sensitive, I'd think, Allen.

I would normally agree, if some could connect and some couldn't, but I (and many others) was connecting and getting a 404 which is a response from the server.

Anyway, it's sorted now, so all good.

Good to see were back online, I noticed a database error last night when I tried to load once and since then just constant 404s with the occasional access for a few seconds.

Maybe it's been an intermittent issue, every time I tried it wasn't working, every time you tried it was? That's just my luck!

couldn't log in or load the forums page other than signing in on an article and clicking through into the comment forum that way.

i.e www.forums.hexus.net when not logged in gives 404
but once logged in to post in an article comments section i can bring up that specific forum thread, and from there navigate to subscribed threads, and from there forums.hexus.net is accessible.

Ditto. Just tried again. forums.hexus.net = 404
forums.hexus.net/subscriptions.php = 404
www.hexus.net is fine, but won't link to the forums (gives 404) unless I log in on the front (main hexus) page first - then the forums show just fine.
