Long Spaces Being Added To Sig's

I am not sure best place to post this.

I have noticed a large white space being added to the bottom of my sig and have noticed it on a couple of others. I thought it may have been my sig so went into settings and deleted any white space I could see and for a while it seemed ok, now large white spaces are back again, its not really a bother but thought I would mention it.

As far as I can see from my end (could be browser issue on your end) it seems to just be a case of the forums filling the signature with white when it needs more space to fill in post count, thanks etc.

I had a look around after seeing this post, best example I found is this:

See how cptwhite's post is long enough to go beyond the thanked/system sidebox and therefore the signature has no white space.
In post 3, one of his own replies, the post was much shorter meaning the sidebox extended beyond the post, that then gets compensated for by filling the signature with white.

If you're seeing something else it may be browser related, thats just what I'm seeing on my end.

Making a double post for testing purposes, if I'm correct once I set a signature this 2nd post will have white space in the signature.

Edit: Seems signatures don't apply retroactively so there goes that plan, this post can be deleted. cptwhite's posts should be enough reference anyway.

Sometimes takes a second pair of eyes to see things, yes your absolutely correct :)

with no sig, the stuff we list on your behalf about you, to the left, makes an empty sig fill with white so the next post below doesn't overlap with some elses avatar etc
