    Photography Forum

    Hey guys

A recent wave of stuff about cameras / photography has led me and a few others to think that perhaps a sub forum for photography would be a good idea?

    http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=34256

This is where Shiato suggested it

    Seconded.

*humble bow, with smug grim, and expected puppy dog eyes look*

ah ha, so this is where you suggest things...
yeah, it was merely a request about whether it might be at all possible to include a photography section in the forums - since its in the general disco bit I'm guessing there's going to be growing feedback from which you can judge for yourselves (he says as only two people actaully post!). anyway be grateful if you could give it a few moments thought alongside everything else you do to make this place run better than a time-piece from switzerland...
    cheers guys

As usual, if there are sufficient threads for a prolonged period e.g. 3 months then we will consider it. Sub forums cause people to miss posts unless there is a sufficient level of interest.

So keep posting and get back to us in a month or two

erm, no ? No more tucked away than any other forum, it's a top level one like General Discussion. In fact it's right above General Discussion, couldn't more in your face unless we made your mouse click on it for you

what i really meant is that because threads like these are in feedback as opposed to GD then less people see them, because im assuming there are a large number of people who never bother looking in feedback. i know i hardly ever do in the various forums i visit.

    p.s. technically this is a sub-forum

I just had a thought that the proposed forum may be more worthwhile/popular if it included all graphics not just photography. Ie photoshop, flash, web graphics, 3d graphics, wallpapers, skins etc.
