    Database Error

I was looking to see if there was any "reward" for getting 1000+ posts here, so I decided to check the FAQ above. I types "avatar" in the search box since I knew you got one when it got to 500. But instead of getting some search results, I got a white backgrounded page showing this:

    ********************
There seems to have been a slight problem with the HEXUS.net Forums database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff , who you can also contact if the problem persists.

    We apologise for any inconvenience.
    ********************

Do you know about this, and can it be fixed?
I have also sent an email to that email address too .

Incidentally, this is my 1000th post !

Must have been a temporary glitch as it's working fine now. I'll look at the logs

I have had 5 emails from the system (all from your login) so I am not sure what you are exactly doing but I can't recreate it - trust me thousands of people hit the forums daily so not sure what your doin :|

I only sent one emai to the "technical staff" which was last night. Unless the page I viewed automatically send the email everytime I go on it, I don't know where you got the other 4 emails from.

I literally got to FAQ at the top, then type in "avatar" (i haven't tried anything else), then press enter to OK it. If you think it's just my browser/PC that's the problem, then I'll stop reporting it, and go away .

I just tried that now, so assuming it's an automatic email system, david should get another email .

It can't be from firefox.I just got it with IE6 doing a search for members (was trying to look through the members dir). Probably just a mySQL error--problem on the host's side.
