    Post Quote Tag Problems

    Hi there,

I try to wrap Quote Tags around text in a message but I get the following error:

"The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters."

This has occurred on all the threads i've tried to reply to using the Quote Tags.

Some help would be gladly appreciated.

    Thanks In Advance

Works for me, if you can provide the text you are using it would help (replace [] with () if necessary)

    Hi there,

Well as an example I try to wrap the following text:

    "Validate Your Account Information
You can validate your account information by adding a credit card and then either authenticating your address by phone or in writing, or by completing Expanded Use Enrolment."

I've tried different types of characters and different amounts of words and still comes up with the error message, both in submit reply and preview message.

Yes, quoting doesn't have the same meaning on a forum as it does in real life. Quoting allows you to quote what someone else has said on the forum and then add your own comments in context, it isn't for quoting external sources. For that purpose I suggest you wrap the text in quotes and make it italic using the relevant bbcode.
