Man, i've been a member of the site for over a year, i'm just not an avid poster. And I can't personalize my avatar, which is really annoying me. Any chance that you can amend the requirements so that you can have an avatar after you've been here a certain amount of time, rather than just by the amount of posts you have? I'm not going to mass-spam just to get one.
I need to personalise, i've been here ages and i'm faceless...

how many posts are required for custom titles / avatars anyway???
Custom titles are 200 posts, avatars are 500 posts. I personally think the limits are fine, since I don't it doesn't matter all that much to have a little picture under your name.

And in addition to that sig sizes are limited to a width of 500pixels and max height of 100 pixels. Please amend yours richdog or it will be removed. Thanks
Ok Im my not like it (doesn't make sense to me, no other forum has such a high count needed for avatars, and they help make you recogniseable), but i'll lump it as I enjoy Hexus. *sigh*

Well I've been here almost exactly a year too, and look how many posts I've ranked up. 1,298 and counting - no spamming involved either!
I was looking at putting my own avatar on but then found this thread. I think the limits are fine. People get rewards for the amount they give to the community. Best way really!
