forum photos not deleting when album removed

Hi, I tried to clear out my photos to make way for some new ones, but something seems to have gone wrong. The albums deleted, but the images still show up in the add images screen and it won't let me upload new ones saying the space available is still maxed out. If i try and make a new album and add these old photos to it it then says it can't find them (which would be correct - they shouldn't be there). Is there a way to flush the add items screen - there is no option to delete images from that page.

I may be able to do that - I can only see four photos in there.

if I select any of these and try to add it to an album it says it can't find the image, but the file space available will decrease by the file size shown. It will then sit there until I log out and return.

thanks, file size now right down, but this is still what I see and the error still occurs if I select any of them. (i've logged out, cleared browser cache etc)

I think you need to go back a couple of stages, to the album page. If you select the album, there is an edit function which allows you to delete them. There is an option to delete the images associated with them. Alternatively you can delete the images first. An album isn't a container, it's more like a tag associating images with the same tag into a group. Deleting an album doesn't necessarily delete the images associated with it.

but that's the problem. I would love to be able to go and do that, but the album page doesn't show the albums anymore that these were in. The tick box said that when the album is deleted the images are too - but clearly not so far as the uploader is concerned.
