Exclamation New thread buttons don't work

When I click on ANY button when writing a new thread/reply, nothing happens. Even if I click "more" for smiley, the loading bar comes up at the bottom, but the popup smilies don't show. I've tried the whole of the top line (bold - quote) and a lot of the smilies too.

I'm using firefox V 1.0.2, but it seems OK in IE.

Yet another thing not working is the drop down menus. I've tried "search" and "quick links", but it's as if I'm just clicking a plain link. "Seach" goes to the advance search, and "quick links" reloads the page.

I just asked Exopaladin over IRC to try clicking the "quick links" menu, but it works for him. He was on linux though using the same FF version as me. He says it works on windows, but he uses FF 1.0 on that. I'm pretty sure everything worked OK until the FF update.

Isn't there some new anti-popup tech in FF?
Maybe that's killing even wanted popups?

I just turned off the pop-up blocker, and the situation is still the same.

I can't see any little arrows, and anyway, it worked by just clicking the text link before. Even if that is the problem (which it's not), I still can't click on bold, underline, italics, smiliess etc etc.

Could it be an extension I have that's causing the problem? If it helps, I have these installed:

    ForcastFox 0.7
    OpenDownload 0.2.1
    Image Zoom 0.1.7
    FirefoxView 0.31.1
    ieview 0.86

I have no idea what is happening ajbrun - I would take all off and do one at a time and find the issue - it certainly is not a HEXUS.codebase issue

I've just recently reformatted, and I've put all extensions that I had on before - no more, no less. I'm sure it worked before the reformat. Is there anything else apart from the FF extensions that it could be?

It seems to have fixed itself. A while ago, firefox wouldn't open, so I had the idea of looking in the processes and closing FF completely. I then successfully re-opened it, and all menus now seem working. I've no idea what went wrong, but it seems OK now .

Another idea as to what fixed this. It coinincided with the whole hexus site being reset or something. Anyway, it was down for a while, no one seems to know why, but maybe that could have done something?

Perhaps you had a cached version of the style sheets and needed a CTRL-F5 to ensure you had the latest ones.
