Why cant people with fewer than 50 posts VIEW the For Sale forum?? I understand the sellers thing , but what risk does a buyer hold if they pay via safe ways??
If the seller has the money they send it off, surely. so no risk to them.
Because you've gotta build up a teensy bit of a reputation around Hexus first and prove you're not just here to use it as a trading post

Buyers don't want to be messed about by sellers, but sellers don't want to be messed about by buyers either... it works both ways.
Also, if people could even view the section, but not post in it, then they'd still be able to use the PM system and basically circumvent the restriction.
Our current setup has been in place for a while, and seems to do a good job of protecting our users. After all, 50 posts isn't that many, but it is enough to sift out the spammers from the trustworthy folk.
