After spending a few more hours on the forums, I think that the cross hatch background needs darkening just a little. I think this will make things easier on the eye.
Getting used to it now though, definitely an improvement, all the hard work was worth it imo.
think the online/offline needs making a tad bigger
and change that black bar ^^ to a dark blue
Why the change? Is it just cause bit tech have changed or what?
I think I slightly prefer it to the old one...

Could you maybe just tone down the red in the gaming bit? It looks VERY different from the rest. Maybe have the blue in, but just hints of red at the sides of the blue or something?
love the new look, on this forum, can u implement it uniformly for every section of the site please, ie the same color scheme etc :) sorry this probably will eman a lot of work. also another thing, the older articles, their image links are not working. maybe archiving these images as well?! i dunno, or get rid off the articles that are dead.

anothering thing. this is obviously designed on LCD displays or wiht res at 1280X1024. basically i am on 1600X1200. everytihng is so tiny here, is there any chance u can make these color bars a bit more dynamic? cos things like post reply and today, 01:04AM is liek ant size on my display. way too small and changing the font on my broswer really screws the page up, as the back grounds don't update with it

how about the icons? they are tiny? liek the quote quick reply etc icon. they are really small on 1600X1200.
