Retailer list

It may be me, and I'm no stats guru but I was just browsing the retailer list and feel a little confused over it and here's why;
there are many good retailers listed, who no doubt are proud to be though of and voted for on such a prestigious online computer tech review/discussion site. and certainly the bigger retailers take note and listen to customers by partnering up to get involved with customer's concerns and resolving issues pretty rapidly e.g. scan and komplett to name but two. it is then confusing how each retailer may be rated on the 'retailer board'...for example if I wish to buy something from a trusted dealer I dutifully check to see who has the most hexus stars by their name (implies they are good yes?) and see quietPC at the top BUT (and here's the kicker) only 4 people seem to have voted. fair enough, I think, I'll see who's had more votes and it OCUK...hmmm...not been hearing the best of late about them, and their drop in stars is obvious. now, one down is scan (yay!) similar number of votes but much better score. plus points there. but then look further down and its kustomPC that has a 'better' rating per customers. . .similarly dell is - I assume - a reasonably big company, QuietPC perhaps isn't quite as big yet has made more happy customers than unhappy customers hence the better 'X' score. and there's lots of companies with 5 stars but where very few people (some only one at all) voted.
I think the info might need a bit of stats crunching if possible to proportionise the results a little better but i also agree that since the info is all there its an impartial way of presenting it and for users/visitors to decide themselves who they buy from. There may even be no other way of presenting it... still, its a nice and useful thing to have and very appreciative of you guys doing what you do, just my brain mulling things over.
