I posted this in the I don't ask for things very often round here thread, but it was a little lost in subsequent replies. I figured it'd get more exposure over here:

Seems like the creative forum has got off to a great start, it seems to be mostly photography, but I can envision lots of digital graphics being posted there in the future.

In regards to the latter discussion, how about a subforum for the tutorials? They could cover programs such as Photoshop and the aforementioned "GIMP" (I'm still wary about that one, I don't trust 0iD or Dougal one bit!)

I'm sure many members, and that's including myself, would be more than happy to share their knowledge and, if it were to be properly maintained and a high quality standard were to be set, it could give HEXUS its very own graphical tutorial database. This would definitely boost the levels of visitors, enhance the closeness of the community (members helping members) and allow the site to gain visitors from a type of userbase that would usually shy away from the forums.

Just an idea, but one that, if excecuted properly, could be extremely beneficial in widening the site's appeal!

If we get sufficient tutorials to warrant a subforum then we'll do it, in the meantime I suggest we just sticky the most useful threads.

yup spot on, if these are to be done though they would have to start making appearances within the 30 day trial if you want to push forward the forum being kept
