    Hexus design

Sorry is it me, but I find the visual impact of the discussion threads a bit overwhelming and information overload. Its not easy to navigate and feels uncomfy.
I like the front ends for lonely planets throntree or sheffieldforum.org

Theres just something about it that makes finding active threads and the grouping of branches a lot more hardwork than it ought to be. Maybe you ought to streamline some of the categories?

I also like the adslguide.org message boards a lot. Its less in your face, has better organised categories. Its not a moan perse its just first impressions when compared to other boards.

You can find new threads simple by clicking on the New Posts link at the top of the page, the url is here -> http://forums.hexus.net/search.php?do=getnew

Thanks for your input, it is valued. The only thing I can say is that out of our 8,975 members you are the first person to indicate things are hard to find. That's not to say we can't make improvements, we're always seeking to improve, but we believe the categorisation is well structured at the moment. If you can give some indication of what it is specifically that you are finding hard to find it would help focus our efforts

    thanks

In all honesty, I dislike the Hexus 'dot' community thing, and how subfora are named 'Hexus.help' etc.

It could be clearer in that respect, but it works, so what can you say

I honestly believe it's the best laid out forum I've ever visited, with an easy-on-the-eyes interface/look

I think the categories could be made to follow a more sensible grouping as well. When I get time I will make some constructive suggestions. The forums arent as active as I would have thought.

On my firefox i have problems displaying.

I get a massive bar down the left hand side, where the icon (from the top left) seems to have slipped down and gone half way down the page.

Creates a massive space on the left hand side, but it only happens occasionally in threads (not homepage)

Ill try and get a printscreen up soon
